W. Dennis Peters

W. Dennis Peters, 79, of Findlay, peacefully passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 surrounded by family at Bridge Hospice Care Center. He was born on January 11, 1938 to Chester D. Peters and Kathryn E. Peters-King. Dennis married Joleen R. Peters in 1958. Dennis was a McComb High School graduate and worked at Cooper Tire and Rubber Company for 28 years before retiring. He loved to tinker with cars and trucks, working on them with his children and grandchildren. Dennis was a man that loved and served the Lord. Dennis is survived by his parents; ex-wife, Joleen; sons, Nick A., Eric D., and Todd A. Peters; daughters, Teresa D. Spence, Kimberly J. Baney (Tadd), and Deena R. Smith. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Dennis was preceded in death by his grandson, Travis Trenor. Friends and family may visit on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will conclude after visitation at 12 noon with Pastor Dutch VanderVlucht officiating. Memorial contributions in Dennis's name may be made to the family in c/o Hufford Family Funeral Home.
