Wayne E. Lindsey

Wayne Eugene Lindsey, 91, of Findlay, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Bridge Hospice Care Center. Born in Indiana on November 16, 1929, he was the son of the late Kenneth G. and Beatrice (Smith) Lindsey. Wayne married the love of his life, Betty (Quellhorst) on June 29, 1963 and they were married for 55 years until her passing in 2018.

Wayne graduated high school and went on to attend college earning his Bachelor’s degree. He worked for Marathon Oil Company retiring after 30 years of service. Wayne served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and taking vacations in Canada. He was also a past member of the Elks.

Wayne is survived by his children, Kevin G. Lindsey, of Columbus, and Julie L. (Douglas) Barchent, of Findlay; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeffrey, and Lindsey Barchent; and three great-grandchildren, Cullen, Caeden, and Aria Tussing. Wayne was preceded in death by a brother, Richard.
