Wilbert Marriott

Wilbert C. Marriott, 77, of Van Buren, died Sunday, November 27, 2022. He was born on January 5, 1945 in McComb to Ivan and Mary Alice (McKibbon) Marriott.

Wilbert worked at Chrysler and loved farming, hunting, fishing and all sports. When he wasn’t spending time in the outdoors, he enjoyed the casino.

Wilbert is survived by his two sons, Sean (Rebecca) Marriott of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Jeff Marriott of Van Buren; his grandchildren, Macy, Danielle, and Elizabeth Marriott, as well as Zachary and Christopher Baker; brother, Bob Marriott; and sisters, Loretta Marriott and Connie Marriott. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dale Marriott; and sister, Marguerite VonStein.

There will be a memorial for Wilbert on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Bible Methodist Church, 529 Stadium Drive, Findlay. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) is honored to assist Wilbert’s family.
