William “Bill” Markins

William G. "Bill" Markins, 48, of Findlay, passed away December 6, 2016 at Bridge Hospice Care Center. He was born on September 21, 1968 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Arthur W. and Donna M. (Downing) Markins. William married Sherry Vining and she survives in Findlay. William graduated from Findlay High School in 1987 and later worked as an Electronics Technician. He attended the Findlay Grace Brethren Church and enjoyed fishing. William was an excellent pool player, bowler, and a great cook. William is survived by his daughter, Holly Benard; step-children, Matthew Vining, Aaron Deal, and Tracy (Michael) Morris; 4 grandchildren, Dahlia Cramer, Emmanual Vining, Michael Morris, and Major Morris; sisters, Deb Markins, Tina Markins, and Kristy Markins; step-mother, Sue Weihrauch; and an uncle, Cary Downing. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by an uncle, Glenn Downing; and nephew, Kyle Markins. Funeral services will start at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. and proceed to Maple Grove Cemetery where a graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor David Clark officiating. Memorial contributions in William's name may be made to the family in c/o Hufford Family Funeral Home.
