William R. Rayle

William Raymond Rayle, 70, of Findlay, Ohio, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019 at Bridge Hospice Care Center. He was born January 18, 1949 in McComb, Ohio to the late Donald F. and Phyllis I. (Dochterman) Rayle, Sr. William was a 1968 graduate of Findlay High School and attended Anderson College. He worked for 40 years at the Findlay YMCA.  He enjoyed over 30 years of active leadership and performance at the Fort Findlay Playhouse where he was honored with a lifetime achievement award.  He was known by all to be a gentle, kind and loving soul. William is survived by his brothers, Terry L. (Mary Ellen) Rayle of Auburn, IN, Daniel J. (Sharon) Rayle of Affton, MO, Thomas P. Rayle of Toledo, OH, his sister, Shirley M. (Larry) Pettengill of Summerfield, FL. and sister-in-law Bonnie Rayle, of Findlay, OH, as well as several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by a brother, Donald F. Rayle, Jr. Friends and family may visit from 5 - 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31st in the funeral home.  Memorial contributions in William's name may be made to Fort Findlay Playhouse, 300 W.
