Obituary
Betty J. Renfro, 94, of Findlay, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. She was born January 30, 1929, in Central City, Illinois, to Ben and Mary (Lewis) Padberg. On August 24, 1945, she married Charles Renfro, and he preceded her in death on November 18, 2006.
Betty worked at St. Joseph Public Schools in Michigan as a bus driver. She was a member of Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Paula Renfro; grandchildren, Kyle (Melissa) Renfro, Jason Renfro, Kelly Devine, Todd Whitney; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sons, Robert and Richard; grandson, Thomas Whitney, Jr.; and siblings, Pauline Yoos, Bennie Padberg, Louie Padberg, James Padberg.
Betty will be buried alongside her husband at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements.
