Beverly A. Hammond, 72, of Fostoria, passed away on May 19, 2021 at Blanchard Valley Hospital surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Tiffin, Ohio on November 12, 1948 to the late Edward Burkmier Sr. and Mary (Morris) Burkmier Palmer. Beverly’s fiancé is Ed Smith and he survives.
Beverly is also survived by her sons, Larry (Maria), Findlay, David (Tiffanie), Rawson, and Bryan (Jennie), Benton Ridge; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by sisters, Joann Warner, and Judith Felkner; and many nephews and nieces. Beverly was preceded in death by a grandson, Owen; step-father, James Palmer; brothers, Edward, Roger, William, and Robert Burkmier.
Beverly was a graduate of Findlay High School and she retired from RCA. She was a caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Beverly’s family was her greatest treasure and the simplest pleasures brought her great joy. Her feisty attitude and bright smile will be missed and her love for life will continue on with her family.
Friends and family may visit on Monday, May 24, 2021 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A private burial will conclude after visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Beverly to a Charity of the donor’s choice.
