Brenda J. (Powell) Kowalski, 72, of Findlay, peacefully drifted into the arms of her Lord on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Bowling Green. She was born March 18, 1950, in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to John and Betty (Himes) Powell.
Brenda was a graduate of Kenton High School, class of 1968. On June 18, 1973, Brenda started working for Marathon Oil Company in the Credit Card Department and retired after 29 ½ years of service. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with her grandsons and attending their various events.
Brenda is survived by her two children, Theresa M. Kowalski (Jeremy Noel) of Arcadia, and Timothy Kowalski currently of Seoul, South Korea; two grandchildren, John M. Kowalski, and Jaston D. Kowalski, both of Bluffton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Kevin Powell, and her companion of many years, James “Jumbo” Schlueter.
Friends and family may visit on Thursday, March 2, 2023, from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services for Brenda will be held Friday, March 3 at 12 p.m. with visitation one hour (11 a.m.-Noon) prior to the service. Pastor Jim Klausing will officiate. Burial will follow in New Maplewood Cemetery in North Baltimore.
