Bruce Burdock Obituary

Bruce Warren Burdock, 86, of Findlay, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Toledo Hospice Renaissance Tower. He was born October 22, 1935 in Wood County Ohio to the late Rolla and Florence (Wilson) Burdock. Bruce is survived by his wife Leona (Fellers) Burdock, whom he married June 27, 1997. He is also survived by one son, Brian Burdock of Albuquerque, NM; two daughters, Erica Burdock and Julie Burdock of Sacramento, CA; sister, Jacque Carsey of California; and two brothers, Robert Burdock of Idaho, and Wendell Burdock; two grandsons in Albuquerque; and one granddaughter in Sacramento. In addition, Bruce is also survived by stepdaughters, Cindy Gangle of Findlay, D. Lyn (Robert) Davis of Kenton; stepchildren, James (Jessica) Gangle Jr., Jennifer Gangle, and Jillise (Brad) Halstead; and step-great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jackson, and Evan Lynn. Bruce was preceded in death by two sons, Bradley and Brent Burdock; two sisters, Margaret Ann Burdock, and Marian Jean (Burdock) Flowers; and his Foster parents, James and Gladys (Weatherholt) Wilson of Rudolph, OH.

Bruce was a 1953 graduate of Liberty High School, near Rudolph. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Fairbanks Alaska. Bruce retired as an insurance damage appraiser/manager, after having worked thirty plus years in the western states.

There will be no visitation or funeral services. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements.
