Carolyn Ruth Snyder

Carolyn Ruth Snyder, 87, of Findlay, peacefully went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Christmas morning December 25, 2021, at Fox Run Manor. She was born June 1, 1934, in Fostoria to Myron and Helen (Eckles) Kauble. Carolyn married her husband Jack Snyder October 22, 1954, and he preceded her in death in 2020.

Carolyn was a Forest High School graduate. After her marriage, she became a homemaker and a mother of two who loved spending time with her family. For a time, she was employed by Theatrical Supplies and Accessories. Some of her hobbies were basket weaving, jigsaw puzzles, and sewing. Carolyn always enjoyed reading a good book, traveling, and square dancing with her husband. She also enjoyed spending part of every year, after retirement, with her friends at Pioneer RV Resort in Phoenix, Arizona.

Carolyn is survived by her sister, Joanie (Larry) McBride of Forest; by her son, Craig (Amy) Snyder of Van Buren; and daughter, Terri Snyder of Boulder, CO. She was blessed to enjoy her three grandchildren, Angela (Matt) McAllister, Sam (Brooke) Shackelford, and Audrey (Cody) Williams; and two great-grandchildren, Isabella Williams and Adaline Williams. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, David Kauble.

In keeping with Carolyn’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements. The family has requested any remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Bridge Home Health & Hospice, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
