Catherine "Cathy" S. Yoxtheimer

Catherine “Cathy” Susan Yoxtheimer, 72, of Findlay, passed away peacefully July 19, 2023, at Birchaven Village under hospice care. She was born in Fostoria on March 3, 1951, to Clarence and Esther B. (Rangeler) McCormick.

Cathy was a Vanlue High School graduate. After graduating, she attended Owens Community College and began her new career as an IT Specialist. Cathy was an avid NASCAR fan, with her favorite driver being Chase Elliott. She had many talents and hobbies that included: sewing, gardening, crossword puzzles, reading, and not to mention, she enjoyed the outdoors. Above all, Cathy loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Jonathan (Christi) Yoxtheimer, and Bryan Yoxtheimer (Becky Dunbar); grandchildren, Kelsie Davis, Kayler Yoxtheimer, Kamee Yoxtheimer, Chase Gonyer, and Tobias Yoxtheimer; and great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Davis, Isabella Howard, Lennon Love, and Hendrix Love; and brothers, Mike (Carol) McCormick, and Denton McCormick (Doreen Horlick). Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Michael McCormick.

Friends and family may visit Friday, July 21, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay (419-422-1500). Cathy’s funeral service will be at 11 a.m. July 22 in the funeral home with one hour of visitation (10-11 a.m.) prior to the service. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Vanlue.
