Born August 18, 1938, San Antonio, Texas.
She fell asleep and awakened to light, pure, precious light, on the other side of the Veil on June 14, 2022, at 2:30 p.m.
Connie was the eldest of five children born to Domingo R. and Leonore C. Chapa, who preceded her in death as well as a sister, Elida “Ellie” Guinn.
Miss Chapa was out going, gregarious, and curious of life. Determined to live and travel as much as she could and she never knew a stranger, and once on the dance floor, she rarely got to sit down.
Connie worked at Whirlpool, and worked as an Insurance Agent, and Entrepreneur. She also worked in Food Service, having food trucks at Hancock County Fairs and surrounding Ohio counties. She was especially proud of owning her own business, Connie’s Taco Hut, on Logan Ave., here in Findlay, Ohio.
Connie was a graduate of Findlay High School. She will be remembered and missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins in Northwest Ohio, and Texas.
Friends and family may visit from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2022, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Connie’s funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Don Hensley officiating. Interment will follow in Weaver Cemetery, Bairdstown. Memorial contributions in Connie’s name may be made to the Family in c/o Hufford Family Funeral Home.
