D. Anne (LoGuidice) Ilardi

D. Anne Ilardi, 95, of Findlay, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 8, 2020 at Birchaven Village. Born April 14, 1925 in New York City, New York, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Concetta (Saimeri) LoGuidice. Anne married the love of her life Santo S. Ilardi and he preceded her in death on September 17, 2010.

Anne was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Findlay. Prior to her illness, she loved to bake and read poetry. Anne was a wonderful bread baker! She enjoyed cooking and collecting recipes. And prior to her death, she still listened to classical music. She also enjoyed attending symphonies, the Operas, and Ballet performances. Her greatest joys was her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Anne is survived by her son, Frank J. Ilardi of Claremore, OK; daughter, Deborah L. (Joseph H.) Meyer of McComb; grandchildren, Adrienne M. (Eddie) Pletman of Mastic Beach, NY, Reine J. (Eric) Holbrook of Findlay; great-grandchildren, Jorian C. Gerrick, Ryan Pletman, and twins Carter and Cole Pletman. She is also survived by a sister, Elenore Doyle of New York; and brother-in-law, John Gerrick of Columbis Station, OH. Anne was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Desiree L. Gerrick; grandson, Michael Ilardi; and sisters, Dorothy Cinquemani, and Phyllis Gerrick.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church downtown, 617 W. Main Cross St., Findlay, Ohio 45840. Fr. Mike Zacharias will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior (10 – 11 a.m.) to the service at the church. Interment will be held in Western Reserve National Cemetery. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions in Anne’s name may be made to Alzheimer’s Association of NW Ohio.
