Donna K. Trenor

Donna Kathryn Trenor, 90, of Findlay, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. She was born in Chillicothe, OH on June 5, 1931 to Crawford (Guy) and Emma Johnson Phillips.

Donna was a 1949 graduate of Chillicothe High School. Donna met the love of her life, Bill, while working at the East Broad Appliance Company in Columbus, OH. The two wed in 1955 and relocated their family to Findlay in 1972 to open Lucas Appliance and TV Center. Donna worked alongside her husband serving as Co-Owner and Vice President of the company until it closed in 1989. She spent the remainder of her working years employed at Great Scott Supermarket and then The Pharm in Findlay. Wherever she went, she loved meeting and talking to new people!

Donna’s favorite past times include: baking and making gifts (particularly crocheting) for others, watching true crime movies and her daily dose of The Young and the Restless. Some of her fondest times were spent traveling around the world with her husband Bill where they visited locations in Rome, Madrid, Dublin, London, Hong Kong, Hawaii, and Morocco. Later in life, she enjoyed domestic vacations with Bill and her son Michael to San Francisco, Phoenix, Seattle, and Old Orchard Beach, ME. She especially loved visits from her children and grandchildren.

Donna is survived by her son, Michael (Debby) Trenor of Canton, MI; daughters, Tiffany (Eric) Sass of Shelton, CT, and Vicki Kendrick of Canal Winchester, OH. Also surviving are her granddaughters, Brooke Trenor of Findlay, and Samantha Trenor of Grover Hill, OH; grandsons, Jeremy (Tami) Trenor of Norwalk, OH, Jacob Sass, and Andy Sass, both of Shelton, CT; and 13 great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Austin, Peyton, Stephanie, Hailee, Lucas, Maddison, Halo, Killian, Gavin, Charlize, Akiera, and Preston. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; and 4 siblings, Crawford Phillips, Charles Phillips, Geraldine Phillips, and Mona Mae Anders; her beloved husband, Bill Trenor; sons, Patrick Trenor and Joseph Kendrick; grandson, Travis Trenor; and her furry companion, Pepi.

Friends and family may visit Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 12th in the funeral home.
