E. Dan McKee, 80, of Findlay, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020 at The Heritage. He was born on September 20, 1939 to the late Fred D. and Helen M. (Naus) McKee in Forest, Ohio. Dan was united in marriage to Cathy K Wiseley on September 24, 1961; she survives in Findlay.
Dan loved his family dearly and enjoyed fishing, woodworking and bowling. He was also an avid OSU Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Indians fan.
Dan is survived by his loving wife, Cathy, of 58 years; his children, Eric D. (Kathy) McKee of Findlay, and Dani (Jim) Dreisbach of Westerville; four grandchildren, Hannah (Codey) Jenkins, Miles (Becky) McKee, Ellie (Ravonne) Lawrence, Faith (Kyle) Couch; and five great-grandchildren, Lily, Daisy and Clara Jenkins, Gideon Couch, and Teagan Lawrence. He is also survived by his brothers, Robert, Charles, and Frank McKee; sisters, Dorothy (Charles) Laing, Alice (Larry) Wilson, and Ruth Erickson. Dan was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence McKee; and sister, Marjorie Burkholder.
Friends and family may visit Friday, January 17, 2020 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home following visitation. Interment will be private in Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Dan’s name may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
