Effie Mae Rose, 92, of Findlay, formerly of Tiffin, passed away peacefully December 20, 2019 at Bridge Hospice Care Center. She was born August 29, 1927 in Lost Creek, Kentucky to the late French and Martha (Francis) Watts. Effie married Karl M. Rose on January 23, 1954 and he preceded her in death January 25, 1975. Effie was a homemaker and liked watching sports on TV, especially the Cleveland Browns, Ohio State, and golf. She also enjoyed taking walks and bike riding.
Effie is survived by her daughter, Susan Fagan of Findlay; grandson, Brandon (Kayla) Fagan of Bowling Green; and great-granddaughter, Nilah Fagan. She is also survived by her sister, Golden Hanna of Fostoria; and sister-in-law, Ella Mae Watts of Tiffin. Effie was preceded in death by brothers, Hershel Watts and Andrew Watts; sisters, Laly (Watts) Clark and Addie Watts.

Friends and family may visit from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday following visitation with Bishop Craig Stapley officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Effie’s name may be made to the Bridge Home Health and Hospice, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
