Eldon E. Bohn

Elden E. Bohn, 89, of Arcadia, went to be with his Lord and Savior at his eternal home on January 22, 2020. He was born in Hancock County to the late Carl E. and Alice A. (Wickman) Bohn on March 26, 1930. On March 16, 1952, Elden and Carol Jean Knight were united in marriage. She preceded him in death on September 20, 2001.

Elden retired from The Ohio Bank and Savings Company in June 1991 after 43 years of service. He graduated from Findlay High School in 1948 and attended The Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin graduating in 1959. He served as Fiscal officer for Washington Township for 28 years, retiring September 30, 2010. Elden was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Arcadia participating in the choir and serving as a lay minister. He and Carol enjoyed collecting lamps and attending meetings with other collectors as well as building model airplanes.

Elden leaves behind his son, David C. (Clare) Bohn and daughters, Rachel and Sarah Campbell; grandsons, Brandon (Taylor) Bohn, Coty Bohn, Travis (Jenna) Bohn, and Austin Bohn; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Brielle Bohn. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel J. Bohn; and sister, Virginia Frankhauser.

A private graveside service was held on Friday, January 24, 2020 in Knollcrest Cemetery.  HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorials contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 18974 OH 12, Arcadia, Ohio 44804 or to the Charity of the Donor’s choice.
