Ethel M. Decker, 88, of Findlay, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin. She was born in Findlay on January 9, 1934, to William and Adaline (Filliater) Eddington. Ethel married her husband Nelson Decker on February 20, 1956, and he preceded her in death in 1998.
Ethel worked for many years at Findlay Industries before her retirement. She enjoyed knitting and made afghans for friends and family, loved going to the derbys, the county fairs, and going to the flea market to find good deals.
Ethel is survived by her sons, Rolland (Beth) Decker, Doug (Diana) Decker, both of Findlay; stepson, Nelson Decker; daughter, Donna (Michael) Mundorff of Risingsun; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenny Eddington of Findlay, and Dick Eddington of New Reigel; sisters, Norma Riker of Findlay, and Kay Stover of Findlay; son-in-law, Frank Hyden; and stepson-in-law, Eldon Ratliff of Fairborn. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael A. Decker; daughters, Linda S. Hyden, and Dee Ratliff; brothers, Keith, Frank, Dave, Don, and Bob Eddington; and sister, Sally Pugh.
