Fern M (Bartchlett) Hanna

Fern M. (Bartchlett) Hanna, 93, of Findlay, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2020 in the comfort of her home. She was born on August 14, 1926 in Findlay to the late Homer W. and Lillie A. (Dorner) Bartchlett. On November 11, 1942, Fern married Arthur J. Hanna and he preceded her in death. Fern is survived by her son, William J. (Jill E.) Hanna of Findlay; son-in-law, Stephen G. Crow of Findlay; five grandchildren, Josette E. (Scott M.) Lentz, Amanda R. (Douglas A.) Cheek, Lindsay R. Crow, Aaron A. Crow, and Stephen N. Crow; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra S. Crow; sisters, Gloria Kidd and Geraldine Bartchlett.

Fern enjoyed traveling, camping, and gardening roses. She also enjoyed doing activities with the nurses at Fox Run Assisted Living.

A private family visitation will be held Thursday, July 2, 2020 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will follow in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. Burial will be held in Knollcrest Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Fern’s memory may be made to Humane Society & SPCA of Hancock County.
