Franklin Moore Obituary

Franklin J, Moore, 84, of Findlay, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Blanchard Valley Hospital due to complications with COVID-19. He was born November 3, 1936 in Miller City, Ohio, to the late Lewis and Innise (Leip) Moore. Franklin was a 1954 graduate of Leipsic high School. He served in the U.S. Airforce and retired from Cooper Tire after 42 years of service. He was a member of Cedar Creek Church, the Findlay Moose Lodge #698, and the Silver Seekers Metal Detecting Club. Franklin was a family man who enjoyed watching his grandkids activities and sporting events. He spent many years metal detecting, traveling around the country for hunts and taking trips to the casino.

 Franklin is survived by his wife, Janet (Hammons-Poling) Moore; children David Moore, Daniel Moore, Ronda Bruce, and Camela Moore; step-children, Dennis (Toni) Poling, Brian (Heather) Poling, Scott (Erin) Poling, Brenda Poling, and Lori (Bob) Harris; grandchildren, Damien Moore, Jennifer Moore, Destine Moore, and Stephani Moore, Ashley Bruce, Sophia Bruce-Hirons; step-grandchildren, Amber (Cory) Echelberry, Stacey (Kyle) Klotz, Nick Muntzing, and Rosie Muntzing, Breann Lunn, Kayla Lunn, Lexie Harris, Emma Poling, Jack Poling, Darby Poling, Silas Poling, and Emmett Poling; twelve great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bernita (Albert) Nighswander. He was preceded in death by his first wife, LaDonna (Anglemyer) Moore, three brothers and two sisters.

 A private graveside service will be held in Benton Ridge Cemetery. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements.
