Frederick Warren Brown Jr., 87, of Houcktown, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2021 surrounded by his loving family at Bridge Hospice Care Center. He was born September 11, 1933 in Findlay to the late Frederick W. and Margaret (Cole) Brown Sr. Frederick married N. Jean (Kindle) Brown and she preceded him in death in 1988.
Frederick was a proud U. S. Navy Veteran serving in Korea. He was a Pilot for Findlay Industries retiring after 15 years. Frederick was a lifetime member of V.A., E.A.A., Quiet Birdman’s Club, and the Over the Hill Gang of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He also enjoyed airplanes, remote controlled sailboats, and riding Cushman scooters.
Frederick is survived by his sons, Warren (William) Brown, Lonnie (Renee) Brown, Chuck (Donna) Brown; and daughter, Gail (Katya) Cole. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren, Amber, Colin, Nicholas, Natasha, Sansha, Harley, Justin, Joshua, Nathan, Nicki, and Nathan; and many great-grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by brothers, Steve (Jama) Brown, and Norm (Debbie) Brown. Frederick was preceded in death by two daughters, Leslie J. Thornburg, Cheryl A. Gossman; sister, Maxine McKnight; and brother, Stanley Brown.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Houcktown Cemetery with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions in Frederick’s name may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
