Glenna Helen (Roller) Mellott, 95, of Findlay, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 12, 2021. She was born March 6, 1926 in Hancock County to the late Wilbur and Mildred (Schafer) Roller. Glenna married Ray E. Mellott and shared 72 years of marriage before his passing in 2016.
Glenna was a homemaker and enjoyed living on the farm. She was an active member of First United Brethern Church of Findlay, where she loved the old hymns and a member of Fostoria Gideon Camp Auxiliary. An avid reader, she loved visiting and spending time with her family. Glenna was an excellent cook and baker. She loved being in the kitchen, especially if it meant making food for her loved ones.
Glenna is survived by her children, Sammy A. Mellott and Loretta J. Whiting; blessed with 16 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a special friend, Jane Mathers. Glenna was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Breyman; son, David Mellott; brothers, Lester Roller, Thomas Roller; and sister, Ethel Woodward.
Friends and family may visit from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will conclude at 3 p.m. in the funeral home on Friday. Private interment in Knollcrest Cemetery.
