Guadalupe S. Salinas, 77, of Findlay, peacefully passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Bridge Hospice Care Center. She was born December 9, 1943 in Laredo, Texas to the late Ramon and Maximina (Oviedo) Sanchez Sr. On May 5, 1965, Guadalupe and Simon Salinas were united in marriage, sharing 55 years together.
Guadalupe was a loving wife and mother. She loved gardening and planting flowers. Guadalupe had a beautiful soul and will be missed. She was also an active member of St. Michael Catholic Church. May she rest in peace.
Guadalupe is survived by her husband, Simon; daughters, Mrs. David (Mary Lou Salinas) Salazar, and Mrs. Elias (Cristina Salinas) Gonzalez Jr., both of Findlay; 9 grandchildren, Aryana Gonzalez, Nickolas Gonzalez, Sonya Thompson, Vallerina Orians, Bianca Metzger, Jessica Salazar, David Salazar, Joshua Salazar, and Ryan Salazar; and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Alonso Sanchez, Manuel Sanchez, Robert Sanchez, Ramiro Sanchez, Paul Sanchez, and Armondo Sanchez; sisters, Ida Sanchez, Janie Lizcano, and Mrs. Gilbert (Ofelia) Bernal. Guadalupe was preceded in death by brothers, Ramon Sanchez Jr., and Arturo Sanchez.
A private visitation and service was held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) with Deacon Mike Eier officiating. Interment followed in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery.
