Helen M. Crawford, 93, of Findlay, passed away peacefully May 9, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center. She has joined her husband Robert Crawford, who passed away May 8, 1997. The two were married for 50 years and are now together again. Helen was born August 7, 1929, in Findlay, to Clarence L. and Velma M. (Harkness) Trautman.
Helen attended Findlay High School, worked at Kuss Corporation, retiring in 1996, and in her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, crafting, and cooking some of her favorite meals. She also joined St. John’s Lutheran Church in 1945. Helen loved her children, grandchildren, and especially the great grandchildren. She was admired and respected by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Diana M. Fulk, and Patti S. (Mike) Chapman; six grandchildren, Carrie (Tony) Vaughn, Kim (Adam) Leonberger, Kathryn Woods, Amanda (Shannon) Meadows, Tyler Fulk, and David (Liz) Chapman; six great-grandchildren with the seventh on the way, Anthony Vaughn, Kamryn Meadows, Robert Meadows, Oliver Leonberger, Henry Leonberger, Owen Chapman, and Baby Chapman. In addition, she is survived by a sister Kathleen (Donald) Rumgay of Arizona, and many nieces and nephews.
Awaiting Helen in Heaven are her parents; husband, Robert; son, Roy L. Crawford; brothers, James Trautman, and Donald Trautman; sisters, Mary Lou Eversole, and Delores Gardner.
Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay (419-422-1500). Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Van Horn Cemetery with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating.
