John E. Devor

John E. Devor, 62, of Mt. Blanchard, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born on August 24, 1958 in Connersville, Indiana to the late Bill and Joann (Shirley) Arnold. John worked as a general contractor for many years before retiring. On August 10, 1996 he married Sherri (Thaxton) Devor. He was a member and past Master of the Mt. Cory Masonic Lodge #418, the Findlay Chapter, Counsel and Commandry and also a member of the Scottish Rite. John was a member of Connections Church. He enjoyed building and woodworking and loved spending time with his family and friends.

 John is survived by his wife, Sherri; sons, Nicholas (Kayla) Buck, Cody (Alyssa), and Cory (Christina) Dorman; 8 grandchildren,  Tyler, Mallory, Sophie, Ellie, Hudson, Kennedy, Karmen, and Konnor Devor; sister, Connie Cartwright; several nieces and nephews; and his favorite girl, Leusha.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 11 -12:30 p.m. at Connections Church, 700 Rockwell Ave., Findlay, Ohio 45840. A masonic service will start at the church at 12:30 p.m. and will be followed by a funeral service with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. Burial will be held at Zion Bloom Cemetery in Vanlue.
