Joyce “Sharon” Rader, age 79, of Findlay, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 10, 2021 in the comfort of her home. She was born September 25, 1941 in Findlay to the late Cloyce and Sarah Flossie (Schaad) Wagner. On July 13, 1972, Sharon and Howard S. Rader were united in marriage in Monroe, Michigan.
Sharon enjoyed genealogy, ceramics, sewing, reading, crosswords, and picking at her husband.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband Howard of 48 years; sons, William (Tammy) Daniels of Findlay, Ken (Rachel) Rader of Findlay, Mike (Andrea) Rader of Lima, and Jeremy (Emily) Rader of Arcadia; daughters, Tamera (DeWayne) Vanatta, Sue Johnson, Sarah (Dave) Tremaine, and Natalie (Zac) Moore, all of Findlay; 15 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, N. Elaine (Bill) Kunert of Georgetown, KY; and a nephew, David (Kerry) Bame of Lexington, KY.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to nurse Jessica and nurse Marcia at Bridge Hospice for the compassion care shown to Sharon and her family during this journey.
Private family services will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Interment will follow in Knollcrest Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Joyce’s name may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
