Julia Ann Baker, 79, of Findlay, formerly of rural Wharton, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. She was born to the late Morrel F. and Frieda M. (Hueberger) Shane in Wharton, Ohio on November 23, 1941.
Julia loved her family and enjoyed spending time watching her kids and grandkids play sports and band activities. She was always our biggest cheerleader. Julia also loved her shopping trips to Menards.
Julia is survived by her 4 children, Greg (Danelle) Baker of Florida, Michelle (Bill) Park of Marengo, OH, Gene (Joelle) Baker of Fostoria, and Merri Joy (Kevin) Hall of Findlay. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Julia is also survived by her brother, James (Nancy) Shane of Upper Sandusky; and sister, Jennell Shane of Findlay. In addition to her parents, Julia was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sandy Baker; and son, Gerold Baker.
Friends and family may visit from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) where funeral services will be held at conclusion of visitation at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Bret Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Julia’s memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of NW Ohio, 3883 Monroe St., Toledo, Ohio 43606.
