Junior L. Emmons

Junior Levi Emmons, 83, of Findlay, peacefully passed away Friday, May 26, 2023. He was born November 30, 1939, in Fostoria, to Floyd and Juanita (Anon) Emmons. On October 11, 2008, Junior married Sharon K. Milligan and she survives.  

Junior worked as a tire builder in the tire industry for many years. Upon retirement, he enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was also an avid Washington Redskins fan. Junior was a simple man who loved the Lord, family, and his grandchildren.

Junior is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; son, Michael Maple; daughters, Rhonda Lopez (Companion, Larry Fenstermaker), and April Hernandez; grandchildren, Jessica Emmons, Jeremy Emmons, Ashley (Justin) Gallagher, Jerry Hernandez, Jackie (Jim) Fry, Ethan Buck, and Kyndra Maple; and seven, great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jeffery A. Emmons, son-in-law, Juan Lopez; and his first wife, Sharon K. Bland.

Friends and family may visit from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2023, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay (419-422-1500). Junior’s funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. following visitation with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Bloom Cemetery in Vanlue.
