Karl Del "Barney" Woerner

Karl Del “Barney” Woerner, 74, of Rudolph, passed away at the Wood County Hospital on Friday, February 5, 2021. He was born on November 8, 1946 in Auburn, Washington to the late Kenneth and Stella (Meck) Woerner. Karl lived in various areas throughout the United States. He graduated from Fostoria High School, and served his country in the United States Marine Corp during Vietnam. Karl enjoyed fishing and watching sports. He was a member of the Eagles in Mortimore and Bowling Green. Karl was an avid Buckeye and Cleveland sports fan.   

Karl is survived by three children, a brother, Charles Woerner; and very close friends and second family, Sarah (Chad) Wallen, and Hunter, Bryce, Bella Wallen. Karl was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends and family may visit from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad will perform full military rites.
