Lora Jean Hunter, 57, of Carey, passed away peacefully on the night of Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. She was born May 14, 1964, in Upper Sandusky, to Raymond and Virginia (Burks) Mullholand.
Lora graduated from Mohawk High School and attended Tiffin Hair Academy. She enjoyed spending time with her children, but Lora’s pride was most on display when she was able to spend time playing with her grandchildren who each had a special place in her heart.
Lora is survived by her mother, Virginia; sons, Joe E. (Christine) Hunter, Jeff T. (McKenna) Hunter; daughter, Jaclyn Rae Hunter, all of Carey; 5 grandchildren, Harper, Hagen, Hazel, Quinn, and Zoe Hunter; 5 brothers, Owen (Nicky), Edward (Deb), Robert (Lisa), Richard (Marsha) and Ray Mullholand; and 1 sister, Oleta (Jim) Kin. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Mullholand, and brother, Jerry Ray Mullholand.
Friends and family may visit from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Memorial United Methodist Church, 229 E. Findlay St., Carey, Ohio 43316 (419-396-6188). Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. following visitation at the church with Pastor Cynthia Morrison officiating. Memorial contributions in Lora’s name may be made to Memorial United Methodist Church.
