Margaret E. Taylor, 92, of Findlay, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at The Heritage Manor. She was born August 16, 1923 in Mansfield, OH to the late Carl Whitten and Gatha D. (Conrad) Whitten-Kaufman. She married Lloyd R. Taylor and he preceded her in death on April 18, 2014. Margaret attended Ohio State University and graduated in 1945 with a Bachelor's degree in elementary education. She was a loving mother and a homemaker. Margaret was officer in The Rainbow Girls of Mansfield, OH, Python Sisters Lodge of Arcadia, and Director of Arcadia Senior Center for the first year. In her college sophomore year, she was a "Rosey the Riveter" and worked on WWII Amphibian Seaplane, "The Mariner". She was also a lifetime member of the Arcadia Trinity Lutheran Church. Margaret is survived by her sons, Gaylen L. (Bette) Taylor of Tucson, AZ, David C. (Dana) Taylor of Glendale, AZ, and Tyrone R. (Julie) Taylor of Arcadia, OH; daughters, Diana C. (Jerry) Glenn of Telford, TN and Christine K. Short of Findlay, OH; grandchildren, Zachary and Christopher Short, Shelly Kloenthrup, Jason, Daniel and Mandy Taylor, Michael and Hiedi Taylor and Penny Paul. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by grandson, Nicholas M. Taylor. Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 25 at 1:00 P.M. at Arcadia Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Brian Krause officiating. Friends and family will be received one hour (12:00 - 1:00 P.M.) prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held in Arcadia Cemetery. A dinner will follow at the church. Memorial contributions in Margaret's name may be made to Arcadia Trinity Lutheran Church
