Mary Alice Dorman, age 87, of Findlay, passed peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, August 3, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center. She was born September 20, 1935, in Ottawa, Ohio, to Edgar F. and Helen A. (Jackson) Boerger.
Mary was an avid bowler and bowled in the Findlay Area Bowling Associations for over 40 years. She was also Director and Sargent of Arms for Findlay Area Bowling Associations and Vice President of Classie Lassi League. Mary was a parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish and her faith in Jesus Christ sustained her throughout her life.
Mary is survived by her sons, Rodney A. (Diane) Dorman of Findlay, Patrick A. (Debbie) Dorman of Reno, NV, Bradley A. Dorman of Bluffton, and Kenneth A. (Malia) Dorman of Findlay; grandchildren, Kenneth (Nicole) Dorman, Matthew Dorman, Kelly Dorman, and Christina (Cory) Devore; and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Jeannette E. (Jack) Bruno, and Anna M. Boerger, both of Findlay. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Donald Boerger, and Robert Boerger.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Downtown Chapel on West Main Cross St., Findlay. Fr. Menezes will celebrate the Mass. Interment will follow in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. up to the time of mass.
