Mary Ann Franks, 83, of Findlay, passed away peacefully May 7, 2022, at Manor at Greendale, Findlay. She was born February 17, 1939, in Bowling Green, to Alfred and Martha (Smith) Deutschman. Mary married Elmer Fellers and they later divorced. She then married the true love of her life, Emery Franks, in November 1980. Emery preceded her in death in 2013.
Mary graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1957. She worked at GC Murphy in Bowling Green, Gray Printing in Fostoria, and Budd Company in Carey. Mary was a member of High Street United Methodist Church in Fostoria and a life member of the Fostoria Moose.
Mary bowled for many years and enjoyed crocheting and sewing. In her spare time, she loved going for walks with her little love, her beloved dog, Cookie.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Tamela (Kevin) Rogers, 3 grandsons that she loved with all her heart, Dalton (Elizabeth) Rogers, Kevin Rogers, and Garrett (Wendi) Rogers; and a brother, Ernest Deutschman. In additions to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Thomas, and Timothy Fellers; 3 brothers, Alfred Deutschman, Louis Deutschman, and Richard Deutschman; and a sister, Lillian Beerkhart. Mary also leaves behind her special friends, Sharon (Kent) Smith, Marie Wolf, and Robin Howard.
Friends and family may visit from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2022, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. following visitation with Pastor Jim Sharrett officiating. Interment will follow in Bechtel Cemetery, Van Buren.
