Michael Andrew Miranda, 62, of Leipsic, Ohio passed away at 5:30 p.m. January 14, 2022, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima. He was born July 17, 1959, in Lima, Ohio to the late Ejino (Henry) and Guadalupe (Fuentes) Miranda.
Michael was a high school graduate and attended Owens Community College. He worked various jobs over the years including The Texas Migrant Council, Kohls Distribution, and retired from Molten in Findlay. Michael was a great photographer, video composer, and loved all types of movies and music. He did calligraphy, macrame, made pinatas, and loved baking. Among his many talents, Michael was the record family keeper, was a National Geographic fan and an avid 49ers fan.
Michael was a father figure to all his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and was a loyal friend to all. He will be missed by all.
Michael is survived by his two sisters, Mary (Jose) Zamora of McComb, and Gloria (Conrado) Villela of Leipsic; three brothers, Henry (Mary) Miranda Jr., of Findlay, Anthony (Jackie) Miranda, and Jesse J. Miranda, both of Leipsic; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his siblings, Beatrice (Mike) Rodriguez, and Elaine (Antonio) Hernandez, both of Findlay, Rosa (Mario) Hernandez, and Feliz Miranda, both of Leipsic, Susana Miranda of Columbus Grove, Victoria Diane Miranda of Leipsic, and his beloved pet, Oma.
To protect those attending, the family respectfully requests masks be worn for the visitation and service.
Friends and family may visit from 12 – 2 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2022, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services for Michael will begin at 2 p.m. following visitation in the funeral home with Pastor Jose A. Zamora of Fountain of Life Church, Leipsic, Ohio, officiating.
