Nathan “Nate” Gibson

Nathan "Nate" Andrew Gibson, 38, of Findlay, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. He was born on April 12, 1978 in Findlay, OH to Danny R. and Debra "Deb" (Howard) Gibson. Nate was a graduate of Findlay High School and later attended Bowling Green State University. He had a career in restaurant management for several years and most recently worked at Whirlpool Corporation. Nate enjoyed camping and fishing, and was an excellent cook. He was an avid Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Nate loved playing games, going to the movies, and spending quality time with his son. Nate was dedicated, hard-working and an encourager-at-heart. He was kind, positive, and fun-loving. Nate will be remembered for his love and devotion for his family, especially his son. Nate is survived by his beloved son, Noah Andrew Gibson; father, Danny; two sisters, Tiffany (Michael) Carrel of Galena, OH, and Bethany (Andy) Cantrell of Findlay, OH; nieces and nephews, Megan, Joshua, and Ethan Carrel of Galena, OH, Maddie, and Beckett Cantrell of Findlay, OH. He was preceded in death by his mother, Debra Gibson. Friends and family may visit on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. at the conclusion of visitation with Pastor Mike McClurg officiating.
