Pearl "Pat" Alice Cannon, 82, of Findlay, passed away with her loving family beside her on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Birchaven Village, two days after her husband. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 5, 1936 to the late Lee H. Thomas II and Alice (Graham) Robideaux. Pat and Bruce were united in marriage on February 19, 1955 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Toledo, Ohio. A marriage that would last 63 wonderful years.
Pat graduated in 1954 from Fairview High School in Dayton, Ohio and was member of Honors Society. She was very active in La Sertoma serving as president of area chapter as well as International President for La Sertoma. Pat retired from Prudential Insurance in 1999, and was former director of Hancock County Humane Society, United Way and Hancock County Senior Citizens/R.S.V.P. She loved spending time with her family as well as sewing, golfing, and traveling.
Pat is survived by her four children, David (Susan) Cannon, Diana Wilkinson (Mike Durain), Marie Cannon, and Lori (Ann Pfautz) Cannon; ten grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Bruce, Pat was preceded in death by her step-father, Joseph Robideaux, step-mother, Alberta (Strobel) Thomas; as well as both brothers, Lee H. (Martha) Thomas III and Jack (Kay) Robideaux.
A Celebration of Life for Pat and Bruce will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior (12-1 p.m.) at Trinity Lutheran Church, 935 W. Bigelow Ave., Findlay, Ohio 45840. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions in Pat's name may be made to the Bridge Home Health and Hospice or Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter.
