Philip G. Dick, 78, of Findlay, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023, at Bridge Home Hospice Center, Findlay.
He was born Sept. 19, 1944, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to Russel and Regina Dick, who preceded him in death.
Philip was a 1962 graduate of Mt. Hope High School in Kansas. He received a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering from The University of Oklahoma in 1967 and Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering in 1971 from University of Toledo. He was an industrial engineer for Dow Chemical Co. in Midland, Michigan; Joliet, Illinois, Cleveland, and Findlay. He also worked as a Computer Manager for Arthur Anderson Co. in Chicago, Illinois, and retired from there in 2001.
Philip was a very active member of Loyal Order of the Moose and served on the State and International Boards. He received his Pilgrim Degree in 2016. He received many awards for his journalism skills and newsletters. He was a member of Indian Lake Moose Lodge. Philip was a member of Huntsville United Methodist Church in Huntsville. Philip loved to travel and enjoyed traveling all over the U.S. for International and State Conventions and vacations to Hawaii and Canada. He was an avid Oklahoma Sooners fan. Phil was a fun, caring, and interesting person who will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life service took place.
