Phyllis F. Edgell, 86, of Findlay, entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Phyllis was born April 5th, 1934 in Burnt Prairie, Illinois to Marion and Ann (Johnson) Cleveland.
Phyllis was a longtime waitress at local establishments such as The Fort Findlay Inn, Enck’s Tavern, and The Moose Lodge. Phyllis retired from Meijer’s as your favorite Meat & Seafood lady. She was a life member of Women of the Moose where she held multiple chairs including Academy of Friendship and College of Regent Degree. Her heart was always in serving on the PVA board at Tiffin Developmental Center for over 40 years.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Mary Wilson, Ruth Miller, Deborah (Charlie) David, John Edgell, Roger (Suzanne) Edgell; grandchildren, Misty (Kirk) Behrman, April Wilson, Marc (Angelica) Edgell, Jeramy Edgell, Holly Wilson, Amanda Edgell, Tiffany Miller, Ian (Emily) David, Nick (Emily) Brink, Bryce David; 19 great-grandchildren, with 2 on the way! Also surviving is her sister, Rosemary Alsop. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger; oldest son, David; brother, Lynn Cleveland; and faithful companions, Rusty and Kylie.
Friends and family may visit from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2021 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 15th in the funeral home at 11 a.m. with Pastor Meg Boger officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in Phyllis name may be made to I & E Tiffin Developmental Center Fund or Bridge Palliative Care.
