Richard E. Anderson

Richard Ellsworth Anderson, 66, of Findlay, passed away on February 1, 2020 at 1:42 a.m. Rick was born on February 5, 1953 to the late Jim and Inez (McCarthy) Anderson. He married the love of his life, Linda S. Bledsoe on July 31, 1971 in Hoytville, Ohio. She preceded him in death on May 26, 2009.

Rick retired from Cascade Corporation after 25 years of service. He spent 22 years in the military. He attended McComb High School and went on to receive his Associate’s from Capital University in Columbus. Rick was a member of VFW Post and a member of the NRA and American Legion.

Rick is survived by his son, Richard Anderson (Melissa Martinez and children); daughter, Billie (Jim) Snyder; step-daughter, Sierria N. Heacock; grandchildren, Ashly Anderson, Rachel (Caleb) Allen, Gabriel Snyder; and great-grandchildren, Rylee Allen, Jaxon Allen, Bentley Fitch, and Lorelai Fitch; brothers, Jim (Mary) Anderson, Robert (Cathy) Anderson, Carl Cotterman, Jerry Cotterman, and Tom Cotterman; sisters, Judy Butler, Margaret Bean, and Helen Heinz. He is also survived by his fiancé, Rose Heacock. Rick was preceded in death by brothers, Jack Cotterman Mike Anderson, and brother-in-law, Mike Bledsoe.

Private burial will be held in Knollcrest Cemetery. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements.
