Richard Scott Stall, 78, of Findlay, passed away unexpectedly at Blanchard Valley Hospital on September 26, 2023. He was born August 7, 1945, in Findlay, to Ray and Estelle (August) Stall. On October 21, 2000, Richard married Susan (Schuette) and she survives.
Richard was a Findlay High School graduate and was a carpenter by trade. He was a member of Findlay VFW and Findlay AMVETS Post 21. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling and golf. Richard was also an avid hunter and loved the many years (over 50 years) he spent hunting in Pennsylvania.
Richard leaves behind his loving wife, Susan; and three sons, Claude R. Waller, and Carl R. Waller, both of Findlay, and Clark R. (Angela) Waller of McComb; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Phyliss Stall, also of Findlay. He also leaves behind his loyal “fur” babies, Hunni, Sophie, and Minnie. Richard was preceded in death by both parents, five brothers, Jim, Bob, Fred, Daryl, and David; three sisters, JoAnn, Irene, Mary, and his son, Charlas R. Waller.
Friends and family may visit from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2023, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay (419-422-1500). Richard’s funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 30 in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery, Amanda Township. Memorial contributions in Richards’s name can be made to Ladies of the AMVETS or VFW or Humane Society & SPCA of Hancock County.
