Robert (Bob) Charles Baum, 91, of Vanlue, passed away December 22, 2021, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. Born in Hancock County June 3, 1930, he was the son of William F. and Bessie (Snyder) Baum. Robert married the love of his life, Charlene (Pratt), and she preceded him in death in 2019.
Bob served in the US Marine Corps during Korean War and also served in the Honor Guard of President Eisenhower’s first inauguration.
Bob is survived by his sons, Dennis (Deb) Baum of Mansfield, Kevin (Ann) Baum of West Chester, and Greg Baum of Findlay; daughters, Anita (Jim) Musgrave of Mt. Blanchard, and Lisa Baum of Findlay; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and six step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Frederick Baum, Donald Baum, and Richard Baum; two sisters, Mildred Monday, and Nellie Walters; two granddaughters, Merideth Joy Baum, and Emilee Ann Baum-Joyner.
A private graveside service will be held in Van Horn Cemetery with the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad performing full military rites. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements.
