Roger G. Essinger, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Blanchard Valley Hospital at the age of 45. He was born in Findlay on February 22, 1975 to Bobby and Patricia Essinger. Roger married Misty and she survives.
Roger loved his family and enjoyed football, camping with the family, fishing, and family game night. Roger also loved his work family at Roki where he worked for 7 years.
Roger is survived by his parents; loving wife Misty; son, Dylan; sister, Kristine (Matthew) Colvin; brother, Casey Essinger; and grandmother, Florence Essinger. He will be forever remembered by his favorite aunts, LaDonna and Patty; and favorite uncle, Steve; cousin, Angie; nieces and nephews, Hailey (Cam), ShayLynn, Jordan, Alex, Andrew, Alyssa, Izebell, Maddy, Katanna, Harper, Piper, Jacob, Xavier, Tyler, Devon, Drew, Alona, and Javen; great-nieces, Aubrey Rafford and Sophia Weyer. Roger is also survived by his in-laws, Dietmar and Shelly Stamm, Timothy and Reverend Darla Metz; and siblings-in-law, Sabrina Stamm, Ashley (Nate) Flugga, Linda Weyer, David Colvin, Wesley Dirmeyer, Lindsey Stanfield, and Chris Metz. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Jeanette Smith, and Jim Essinger; brother, Randy Essinger; nephew, Mikhael Weyer; uncles, Dick, Jim and John Essinger; and brother-in-law, Milton Weyer III.
Friends and family may visit from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2020 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home at conclusion of visitation with the Reverend Darla Metz officiating. Memorial contributions in Roger’s name may be made to the Family in c/o Hufford Family Funeral Home.
