Rolland Norris

Rolland Norris, 66, of Findlay, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Findlay on September 8, 1954 to the late Richard and Francine (Lonsway) Norris. On June 28, 1975, Rolland married Sue (George) and she survives in Findlay.

Rolland worked as a mechanic for 20 years in Toledo before retiring. He loved helping whoever he could by using his mechanical talents. He loved working and restoring cars and drag racing at Norwalk Raceway Park. Rolland would be the first to jump in and lend a hand without hesitation.  

Rolland is survived by his wife Sue; son, Ryan (Tracey) Norris of Findlay; grandson, Andrew; and his adopted son, Cloyd L. (Amy) Guerrero. He is also survived by his siblings, Kathy Fenimore, Maggie Hixson, Russell (Lori) Norris, all of Findlay, Susan Thomas of Andrews, NC, Barbara Norris of Orem, UT, Patty Wubbena of Urbandale, IA; and a brothers-in-law, Larry Iliff, Dave, Chuck, Joe (Andrea); sister-in-law, Mary Jane (Rob), and Tracie; and many other family members. Rolland was preceded in death by siblings, Richard (Marion) Norris II, Robert Norris, Laura Iliff, Richard Thomas, Jimmy Fenimore, and John Hixson.

Friends and family may visit on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 3 – 7 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services for Rolland will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 29th in the funeral home. Fr. Scott Woods will officiate. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Rolland’s name may be made to the Family in c/o Hufford Family Funeral Home.
