Ronald Harold Haas, 75, of Bluffton, passed away January 3, 2021 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born in Findlay on May 13, 1945 to John H. and Helen (Copus) Haas. On June 25, 1967, Ronald married Patricia A. (Benjamin) and she survives.
Ron was a McComb High School graduate and attended Liberty Baptist Church in Ada, Ohio. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, golfing, and traveling. Ron loved spending time with his family and was an avid sports fan and a diehard Cleveland fan. He served his country in the Army National Guard. Ron was an eagle watcher and loved his pets. He also worked at Rockwell-ArvinMeritor for 30 years before retiring.
Ron is survived Patricia, his loving wife of 53 years; son, Ronald Steven Haas; daughter, Cynthia (Daniel) Robinett; brother, Jon Haas; and sisters, Cheryl (Greg) Crego, Rachel (Larry) Snyder, and Ruth (Larry) Challen. He is also survived by an uncle, Bob Haas; and aunts, Ruth Haggerty, and Stella Rae Blake. Ron was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Challen; and a grandchild, Baby Robinett.
Friends and family may visit from 5 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 8th at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with visitation one hour prior (12-1 p.m.) to the service. Pastor Don Ayers officiating. Interment will follow in McComb Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Ron’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
