Scott Banks, 62, of Findlay, passed from this life into eternal life August 29, 2023, at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born to James and Barbara Banks on October 26, 1960 in Tiffin. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Banks; five siblings, Becky Banks and Penny (Dennis) Sokol of Findlay, Deb Webb and Betty (Trigg) Peterson of Mesa, Arizona, and John Banks of McComb; niece, Hannah Sokol; nephew, Isaac Sokol; and great-nephew, Drake Hall. He was preceded in death by his father, James Banks.
Scott touched the lives of many people in Findlay, Tampa, and around the world via pen pals. He loved to travel, crochet, and had a passion for music, trains, photography, cooking/baking, holiday decorations, lighthouses, and gardening. Scott enjoyed giving to others. He would bake pies and other baked goods just to give to friends and co-workers. He passed out crocheted doilies and coasters to those who crossed his path. His infectious laugh brought life to the room.
Scott graduated from Findlay High School and Grand Rapids Bible College.
Scott will leave a big hole in our lives and hearts as a treasured son, brother, uncle, and friend, but we know he is with Jesus, and we will see him again.
