Susan D. (Sue) Beidelschies-Hildebrand, 75, of Findlay, passed away peacefully March 26, 2020. Susan was born March 13, 1945 to the late Hazel (Wise) and Lehr (Larry) Beidelschies in Findlay. On October 9, 1998, she married the love of her life, George Hildebrand and he preceded her in death on December 29, 2019.
Susan always had a smile on her face and never knew a stranger. She loved the outdoors and gardening. Susan had a great love for any kind of animal, her favorite was cats, and love to watch squirrels playing in her yard along with all the deer. Even as a young child, she had a very special place in her heart for the elderly. Susan and George loved golfing and working on jigsaw puzzles together. She retired from Kuss in Findlay. Susan will be missed by so many. Rest in peace Sis.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Tandy Hanlin of Florida; four step-children, Jim (Rhonda) Hildebrand, Nicole Hildebrand, John (Ashley) Hildebrand, and Luane (Aaron) Smith; 2 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; and 3 step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Beverly J. Hudson of New Braunfels, TX, Carole Stone of Findlay; sisters-in-law, Susan Beidelschies, of Tipp City, Mary (Dewaine) Richardson, and Martha DePuy; brothers –in- law, Bob (Kim) Hildebrand and Tom (Dee) Hildebrand; and many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved so much. She was preceded in death by daughter, Marie Michelle (Shelly) Hanlin; brother, E.L. (Joe) Beidelschies; step-mother, Helen (Faber) Beidelschies; step-father, Richard O. Huffman; sister-in-law, Carolyn Logsdon; and brother-in-law, Clarence Hildebrand.
A private family visitation and funeral service will be held on March 31, 2020 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) with Pastor Joel Johnson officiating. Susan will be laid to rest next to her husband in Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey, Ohio. Memorial contributions in Susan’s memory may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice or Hancock County Humane Society.
