Thomas Dean Wade, 72, of Findlay, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center. Tom was born on March 4, 1947 in Findlay to the late Dean and Marjorie (Kuhn) Wade. On August 22, 1970 he married Vicki (Loman) Wade and they have shared 49 years together. Tom worked as a conductor for Norfolk-Southern Railroad before retiring with over thirty-four years of service. He was a member of the Fostoria Eagles, the Findlay D.A.V., AMVETS, American Legion, and the V.F.W.
Tom is survived by his wife, Vicki; children, Gary (Lorie), and William (Bert) Wade, Sondra (Wade) Schiltz, and Jody (Karen) Riddle; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Janice Wade; a grandson; and a sister, Barbra Noller.
Friends and family may visit on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home with Chaplain Kathy Archer officiating. The family ask that those who will be attending to dress in your favorite sports team attire. Memorial contributions in Tom’s name may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
