William “Bill” H. Davis, 83, of Findlay, peacefully passed away, surrounded by his loving family, Friday, June 3, 2022, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. He was born in Republic, Ohio on February 6, 1939, to Russell and Lillian (Wilson) Davis. On May 31, 1975, Bill married Phyllis (Traucht). Together they shared 47 years of marriage.
Bill had been retired for 20 years from Whirlpool Corporation. He was an avid Amateur Radio Operator. His call number was N8PTJ. He enjoyed photography, sitting in his backyard watching his cats, and he also volunteered at the Red Cross for many years with his wife, Phyllis. Bill was a member of Bluffton Trinity United Methodist.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis; four sons, David Davis, Tracy Davis, William Davis, and Jeff Davis; two daughters, Melissa Zilonis, and Robin Brooks; and two sisters, Nancy Semler, and Lola Jensen. He leaves behind his fur baby cats, Baby Girl, Jasper, Gilbert, and Simon. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and five brothers, Russell, James “Jimmy”, Richard Davis, Robert Dodson, and Donald Martin.
